The 9x31 is sometimes referred to as a truck loading auger or paddock grain auger. Given it is the easiest auger to move around it is the ideal choice for loading trucks from field bins in the paddock at harvest time. At planting time, the 9x31 works very well when bringing bulk product by truck to the air seeder. Whether fertiliser or seed a 9x31 can transfer from truck to air seeder with ease. If feeding stock a 9x31 is a perfect choice for handling smaller volumes of grain at slower capacity when filling roller mills, feed mixers and feed out bins. At a maximum lift of 18’ 7” and intake end clearance under silo base of 11’ 4”, the 9x31 is well configured for each of these tasks. The drive options available include Petrol Motor, Hydraulic Drive (driven from tractor hydraulic remotes) and Three Phase Electric. The most popular option is petrol motor. When set up with a 20hp motor, fuel and battery for the electric start, there is about 50 kilograms to 60 kilograms of weight at the intake end of the auger. An Assist Wheels option is available to attach, which picks the intake end of the auger off the ground for easy manoeuvrability, attaching of hopper, coupling to tow vehicle and upending of auger for easy access to chain and sprockets at the discharge end.
